Old town charm

This property has a quaint charm. Located centrally, close to the old town. It is clean and well presented. The only minor beef was that the mezzanine had a low roof and the bed there is a bit on the hard side for my liking. That said I liked the property and would use it again.

We had a wonderful stay at Antonia’s house. The location is amazing if you want to be right in the heart of the old town, the only downside is that it is very difficult to find parking in the area so we just opted to pay 15 euros for the day and leave it in a nearby car park. All of the wonderful bars, shops and restaurants are a stroll away from this property so we didn’t need our car at all once we arrived. The apartment was very spacious and so uniquely decorated. It had a real old world feel to it while still having all the modern amenities you enjoy like a smart tv with Netflix. There was a nice big kitchen at the entrance of the property guests could use and a lovely rooftop patio for communal use as well. We will definitely try to stay here again when we go back to Rethymno. Our family of 4 gives to it two thumbs up!

We booked a two bedroom suite for May 5, one night, for 4 people. We didn’t know this is actually not a hotel, got there in the afternoon, found nobody, the door was locked. When finally a girl came, showed us the unit, it’s one room with an elevated space that has another bed. The room has a strong chemical smell as the girl has a hair salon next door. We ended up not staying there, found another small nice hotel. I got email with check in instruction on May 8, three days after the day we supposed to stay. This is a terrible place, dark and dingy, only three rooms, downstairs has no window at all. The listing is very misleading!
