"The entire staff at the Peppermill from the casino floor the little store, everyone was more then helpful and so polite I was very impressed. The casino was clean, the rooms were clean, every resturant was more then clean. 110% recommend the Peppermill as a destination regardless of if you are there just to stay the night or enjoy a trip away. The Peppermill is above and beyond expectation"

"We enjoyed the city view from our spacious room. The hotel is near the Riverwalk which was undergoing work during our visit. Fortunately there is a nice neighborhood with sidewalks where we were able to get some exercise. We utilized the fridge and microwave as well as taking advantage of the free coffee/cocoa/tea during our brief stay."

"Our stay had both positives and some significant issues. Parking garage: only 2 of 3 elevators were working, causing long waits. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The biggest issue was the hotel elevators. For most of our 3-night stay, only 2 of 6 were working. On checkout day, we waited 15 minutes on the 14th floor. When I called the front desk, I was told only 1 elevator was operational. We could also hear what sounded like someone stuck in an elevator. With a flight to catch, we had no choice but to carry all our luggage down 14 flights of stairs. Room (Petite King Suite): spacious and comfortable, with a great bed and nice jacuzzi tub. However, two issues stood out. First, the AC wouldn’t cool below 72–74°. After multiple calls and over 1.5 hours (and my husband going to the desk), someone finally came. It was fixed, but the delay made it hard to rest. Second, the bathroom layout is extremely tight. The toilet door opens inward with very little clearance—difficult even for someone of average-to-larger build. Overall, while staff was kind and the room itself was nice, the elevator problems and slow maintenance response significantly impacted our stay."

"We are loyal Aloft guests and have even stayed at this property before. But this time it appeared that things have gone downhill a bit. Stained and raggedy carpet, inconsistent customer service, when the room was cleaned details were forgotten like dumping the full trashcan or refilling the water/coffee station. Workman in the hallway fixing carpet were talking loudly and profanely about someone and it made for an uncomfortable walk past them. Bar and food was pretty good. Most of the employees were cheerful and helpful. Just didn't feel quite as polished and well kept as before."

"The room was very clean and spacious. My complaint is not enough bedding. Only one thin single blanket and sheet. Had to have heat up and we prefer a cooler room with heavier bedding. We will stay there again but will take my own extra blanket next time."
