"The dinner meal was good but the breakfast was outstanding ! There was well cooked bacon and it’s the first time I have this included in a breakfast in France. Wow ! Thanks to the Polish woman who was in charge of the breakfast. But there was a flaw. The noise from the other rooms was extremely loud and this doesn’t make sense in a hotel. I could hear the words the people were saying. That absolutely doesn’t make sense. There should be a solution for that MAJOR problem."

The grounds were beautiful and serene, with birds and animal sounds each morning, and the setting felt authentic to the city. "The hotel is in a lovely location. Close to all the amenities of the town. Staff seemed helpful and accomodating. The apartment suites were very well appointed and spacious. However, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness. The sofa had crumbs and hair. I requested for it to be cleaned in the morning as I had checked in late and the cleaning staff had already left for the day. I was promised that the room would be deep cleaned in the morning. However, this was not done. I had to request again for the room to be cleaned in the evening on my return from exploring the area. Apparently there were no notes on their room system re: the deep clean and so it was not done. The staff did eventually vacuum and clean the sofa....but only the sofa. At this level of accomodation, I had expected much more."

"Absolutely magical experience staying here. We came for our honeymoon and loved every minute. Beyond stunning property, well thought out details and luxuries throughout, and amazing amenities. The spa was the best I’ve ever been to. We didn’t want to leave. Would highly recommend!!"

"This hotel is stunningly set in the countryside on spectacularly beautiful grounds. Staff is excellent and helpful. Breakfast was to die for with some of the best croissants I’ve ever eaten. The restaurant was very good indeed, and there are excellent alternatives ten minutes away in St-Saturnin-les-Apts as well. The place has a very calming ambience that we loved. Our villa was Amoureaux, a very interestingly decorated place. It is, however, not a practical place to stay (though the bed was very comfortable), ESPECIALLY if you have any mobility issues. The bedroom is upstairs while the toilet is downstairs. In between the two are a set of hair-raising steep bare concrete stairs without any railings that have danger written all over them. The point of this review is not to dissuade you from staying at this property- we would return again in a heartbeat- it is indeed spectacular. If you simply book any other villa besides this one, we can guarantee a very pleasant stay- just not Amoureaux."

"We booked Auberge La Coste to celebrate two significant birthdays. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are professional, friendly and efficient. There are numerous areas to eat throughout the day and night. There is also a magnificent Sculpture Trail, and Art Centre, featuring works by well known artists. There is also a winery tour available which three our party took and were impressed. The staff also arranged a car for two of us when we had to leave for the airport and it was a reasonable price. We spent two nights there and found enough to keep us occupied for the entire time we were there just exploring what was available on the magnificent property. We were able to have breakfast of coffee and croissant without signing up to the buffet breakfast which was a bonus as this is rarely offered at hotels. It’s usually buffet breakfast or eat elsewhere. It’s a place I would definitely go back to for a special occasion or just a couple of days of complete relaxation."
