"Room was clean and comfy. Staff was nice. That said, simple breakfast buffet is $16.95. Why? Parking is $5/day. Insulting. Walmart waters in room are $2. No fan in bathroom. Clothes left in drawer by previous guest. Rear entrance door was unsecured even though sign said you need key to enter. It was unlocked. Unsafe. Pool not open til Memorial Day. I won’t stay again because of the nickel and diming. "

"The staff was AWESOME when we checked out. At check in, the gentleman kept trying to run a deposit on my card that had already taken out. It took me to have to get my husband for him to stop trying to get me to swipe my card a 3rd and 4th time."

"I went on vacation to Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta for a weekend. I arrived on Friday and was told that there was an event going on in the hotel and it would be noisy from 9:00-10:00am. Unfortunately, I must have stayed on the floor where most of the people from that event were staying. It was noisy on my floor and I could hear from the connecting door in my room , loud talking and hallway doors slamming till about 12:30 am . Then I would be waking up at 6:00 am by the same noise and commotion. It turned out to be a bad vacation because I did not rest and it was annoying to have so much noise around me. I am very disappointed with this stay. I just reached out to the hotel to file my second complaint . I already spoke to the front desk before checking out. I hope they reach out to me. "

"I booked a room with a double bed and pull out sofa online. However, when i got to the hotel they had NO dbl beds avail. The front desk agent was very helpful and polite he was able to get me a different room, but still ended up with 1 K. Bed. The room itself was nice except the bathroom. There was leftover hair in the tub, the shower curtain and the shower wall. "

Hyatt Place is a separate, more budget-friendly brand, and once you understand that distinction, you'll find this hotel is a decent place to stay. The property itself is new and well-maintained, which is a definite plus. Breakfast was good — a highlight worth mentioning. That said, a few things gave us pause: • Not ideal for families with young children or infants: the shower setup was not accommodating for little ones. • Thin walls and poor sound insulation: noise from inside the room can be heard outside, and vice versa. Privacy is a real concern here. • Location: this particular property sits right next to a club, which I would not like "
