"This was our first stop on a long road journey. The hotel is spacious and comfortable. The rooms are tastefully updated however the sofabed is not all all comfortable. My daughter complained of a backache the next morning and she's just 11 so I'd hate to think what would happen to an adult. Glad we were just staying the night. Rest was ok. Breakfast is what you would expect from this part of the world."

"The room was clean, beds were comfy, and staff were welcoming. Unfortunately for us there was a wedding booked for the evening and party goers went well into the early morning hours ending in shouting matches and extensive profanity 🙁 made for a bit of a restless night."

"We loved this vacation at the Desert Surfside Inn. First off - the staff and people who run this property are AMAZING! The location is perfect, the condo we were in was LOVELY. They supply just about everything you need but we would have loved coffee filters as well : ). The place smelled and looked very clean. The toilet could have been a tiny bit cleaner (around the hinges) and we would appreciate more than 2 rolls of TP. There was 5 of us so 2 rolls were gone in the first 2 days. ...

"The pool view rooms are outdated, the bathroom is very small, whereas mountain view rooms reside in the side building which seems newer than the main building. The pool is good, the BBQ ovens and the dinning tables at the pool side are the highlight of the hotel."

"After the cleaning staff finished cleaning our room they left the door jarred open with the deadbolt. Was left unsecured for the entire day until we returned that evening. The TV didn’t work, even after advising the front desk staff it was not fixed."
