"Great staff, food and location"

"just a one night stay for ferry next morning. check in was a dream. the swimming pool was possibly the best hotel pool sauna steam room and jaccuzi ive ever been to. and the restaurant for dinner warm and friendly. the food was good too. just a shame we couldn't have the breakfast as the ferry was too early. maybe next time"

"Excellent hotel - rooms are big, clean and beds very comfortable. Reception on duty (Krystyna) was fantastic - extremely warm welcome, friendly and helpful. A real credit to the hotel. Unfortunately both the quality of food and the service in restaurant were not as high as in previous stays. Very slow service - drinks took an age to arrive - requested condiments never did arrive. "Nice and cosy, lovely meals and dessert at the bar. Parking at hotel. There is a small lay-by before the hotel on merchants quay as well as parking opposite by riverbank in order to drop off luggage. Parking instructions is at reception. The parking building is 3 streets behind the hotel called the Glen Car park. Take a ticket and it is validated when you leave so free parking. Only a 5 minute walk to hotel. When leaving take validated ticket to car park and bring car back to layby or opposite...
