"I arrived on a Monday but was disappointed to learn the restaurant was shut. Had to drive back into Düren for food. Germany doesn't seem to like Mondays! Hotel is good, if not slightly tired, but very clean and I slept well. My Monday evening disappointment was short lived following a very welcoming and wonderful breakfast. Very nice staff."

My wife and I ae in our mid 60's Iwas a little surprized when they put us in a room on a floor that did not have elevator access. Our room was next to the elevator equipment, and there was something wrong with the elevator. Every time it started or stopped there was a loud groan from the machinery.
