"Upon arrival the hotel failed to clean my room thoroughly. They spread the bed and that’s it. I found stains & holes on my sheets, hair in the shower, on the bathroom floor and on the toilet seat. Then stained towels and spots on the large and makeup mirror. I went downstairs and informed the front desk (after calling repeatedly and no answer) of the sheet stains, and they said new sheets would brought up. When I asked if they’ll spread the bed the guest services person looked at me odd, gave me attitude and confirmed sheets will be brought up. We were tasked with re-spreading our own bed. Then as the night went on we noticed the stains on the bathroom towels and that there was only 1 set of all towel supplies… so we needed to make another front desk request. Which again they failed to answer the phone, so I went down late at night to request this. They prioritized my room cleaning the next day and it was like night and day after. I informed the manager of this inconvenience and she informed me that she’ll raise it to the GM. I’m still waiting to hear back. I also reached out to Hotels.com and because the hotel was unresponsive they were unable to do much on their side. I’m so disappointed that this was a 4 star + experience because never have I been forced to stay in a dirty room, much less get my front desk calls ignored and tasked with spreading my own bed when at a hotel and to top it off be given attitude when’s I raise the issue to staff members."
