"Booked my reservation through Expedia for 2 day stay. Prior to the second day the manage was informed that the day needed to be cancelled, he didn't do anything but referred me to Expedia. It's been a week and still no refund. Breakfast was watered down and most everything was gone. The room was nice, neighbors were noisy and you could here walking. Will not use this motel again."

Short walk to downtown Sutter Creek. Safe area for walking. No need to Uber for a ride. It has a gym and a bar. Although we did not check out the bar. "

The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything about the stay felt easy and stress-free. "Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate. We were given a $35 voucher to another cafe for the morning that the Element was closed. We stayed three nights. Our room was very quiet and we enjoyed our King bed. Shower and bath. There is no coffee machine in the room, but coffee is available in the morning in the lobby. Staff was very helpful and tidied up our room every morning. Expensive stay on weekends; a price reduction mid-week. Parking is limited and first come, first served."
