"Wonderful hotel, awesome breakfast. Lovely staff. Situation perfect for “Raffles” the Famous Singapore Slinger cocktail discovered here in 1915. Mention to Sebastian in the Evening bar, Top guy, eager to make our stay memorable. Definitely a Carlton fan from now on."

"Great 4 day stay, accessible for bus and underground. Room was clean but furnishings outdated and worn. Good pool area and laundry. Breakfast was ample and was open until 10 am which I liked. We booked an executive suite and enjoyed the complimentary drink and nibbles which enabled us to relax and chat with other travellers. Ivy really was a gem and looked after us well. We booked a taxi for early transfer to the airport, excellent service. Would stay here again."

"Neat and tidy room good for a short stay and the price point. I like that the lock is by digital pass code. Fifth floor is a common area to fill your water, chill, do laundry. Some odd choices that makes your stay a bit inconvenient compared to other hotels: no outlets in the bathroom for a hair dryer, no conditioner provided, no mirrors in the bedroom, water bottles that are not filled - you can fill at the fifth floor yourself, no closet but there's a clothesline with hangers by your bed."
