"When my taxi arrived at 3 AM and looked at the hotel exterior, I laughed. It was too funny. But once I got into the hotel and my room, I was cool with everything. Clean, comfortable albeit very small room and bathroom shower system in which the entire room is the shower! Something new for me but I learned quite typical in India.
I was scheduled to stay 3 nights. But instead of moving to another hotel, I stayed 6 nights.

"Since I had to visit the Victoria Memorial Hall, I wanted a hotel close to this museum and I wanted a budget hotel. I found Malik Guest House the best choice. It is looks more like an apartment block rather than a hotel. The Harish Mukherjee road is busy all day and night, traffic, people and shops...I was staying on the fifth floor and once you go up to your room, it is quiet and serene out there. The hotel staff are helpful and the service is quick. I was happy to spend a couple of days there....
