The rooms and common areas are picturesque and should be visited by Arch Digest. Well appointed and furnished to relax the mind.
The staff is top notch. Not too assertive but very attentive and respectful.
The restaurant options have a nice variety from bar to Michelin. This is what you want. A kitchen that can provide delicious bites on the go and the more exquisite dishes...

"Anna was the most helpful accommodating hostess. The property was a bit difficult to find but once we found it it was amazing. A bit difficult for parking but we are finding that to be a problem all over Portugal. We would be happy to stay again 😊 "
"The surroundings are beautiful, all vineyards. Know that this is in a pretty isolated area and it requires driving on small two lane mountain roads with some hairpin turns to get here.
We were practically the only guests here during our stay, and had a breakfast spread waiting for us each morning. We had the infinity pool to ourselves. The grounds are great.
The room was kind of fancy looking, but romantic. (Note: glass walls on the bathroom.) Also note, you have to drive at least 15 minutes...
"Fabulous hotel - almost Belmond but not quite.
Rooms are excellent (must comfortable beds with down pillows). Breakfast is superb. Pool service a bit sporadic but overall the staff were wonderful. "

Have never experienced customer service like it, everyone went out of their way to help, the team were exceptional.
The room was perfect, extremely well cleaned every day, and the views were amazing too.
We stayed for 4 nights and ate there for 3 of them as the food was so good. Marlena is a wonderful cook.
We absolutely loved our stay, couldn't recommend more highly and can't wait to come back. "

The Pinta Boutique Hotel is located in an ideal location to be able to enjoy spectacular views of the vineyard lined mountains. "Owners extremely accomodating and gracious,even cooking dinner for us! Breakfeast yet to come. Like a lovely private home stay for just 1 night. Location characteristic of grandparents time of life in the middle of a town surrounded by apple orchards and grape vinyards. 5 stars!"
"I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. At check-in, I was thoughtfully greeted and allowed to retreat to my room well over 3 hours early. Reception encouraged me to get some rest when I mentioned I was quite tired, and that they’d be happy to give me a tour once rested if this was my preference. This considerate gesture was just one of MANY positive experiences with this lovely staff.
