"This is ideal for a stopover coming off the ferry. We had a family room. The kids beds were upstairs (pretty steep stairs) but it had a gate at the top for safety. The room is small but has everything you need to sleep for one night. The shower was good and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was good and made the morning very easy. The hotel is conveniently situated near major roads and next door to an Aldi."
"A nice room with welcome air conditioning and a comfortable bed, but overall the experience was disappointing given the expectations of the price point and Mercure brand: only paper cups provided in lieu of glasses; dreadful coffee in the room with only powdered milk that was well past its due date; and paying extra for a sea view is not worth the money as all one can see is a derelict outdoor swimming pool.
