The reception upgraded us to a suite and we are grateful for the extra mile. Though the hotel is dated and needs some renovations, we are glad that the suite is comfortable and the beddings / towels / pillows are relatively new and well maintained. The tables and drawers / bathroom tiles clearly need some refurbishing.

Nice hotel lack of English spoken

Hotel staff were friendly but there was a lack of English spoken which made moving around the hotel difficult and had to resort to a translation app. The front desk staff helped me out with a lot of things as it is hard to communicate and they were kind and supportive.

Stayed for four nights. First room smelled like smoke. Informed front desk and was provided a new room which smelled equally bad. Was then informed that there were no other rooms available. I suspect it is their whole ventilation system which circulates air with smoking rooms. Air conditioning worked but was extremely underwhelming. Overall, hotel condition reflects its age which is not flattering.
