"The staff at Pavilions are truly who make this hotel shine. As a seasoned traveler, this is the best customer service and hospitality I've ever experienced.
The staff are experts at personalised interactions, remembering small details of what you prefer. They are always eager to please and go out of their way to fulfil any request. This results in an overall feeling that you have your own private team taking care of your every need. It helps that there are only 14 villas on the property. Super commendations to them all!
The reason they (regrettably) lost a star for me is for the food and general upkeep of the hotel. There were many little things that weren't ideal, such as no organised tours or activities and improvements needed on cleanliness and maintenance. As for food, the menu is too large and varied for such a small farm to table restaurant which means quality is affected. Some of the food was really good and some was just ok. The common areas (washroom, yoga room, pool loungers) do not feel deeply cleaned, and our room though the cleanliness was ok, did have some cobweb and dirt build-up.
What I will say is, having had a few conversations with the owners who are often at the property as they live nearby, they are receptive and grateful for our feedback. So hopefully in the future Pavilions can own that 5 star, because they definitely have the potential!"
"Incredible and fantastic resort. The best I’ve stayed at so far. And I’ve stayed at Marriott, Aloft and other 5 star hotels in Nepal, this is the best experience by far.
The details they put into this hotel is really top notch.
The place is beautifully maintained daily, the grass are always free of leafs and branches, the gardening job is done perfectly, and they do this everyday.
The housekeeping team is like magic, the second you left for lunch and come back, boom the room is made and it’s perfectly clean.
The service are the most incredible, I was sick for days and they gave me thermometer, electrolytes, ginger lemon honey tea, make outside of the menu soup for me and get it delivered to my room, they called the doctor for consultation, and even gave me a free ride to the hospital. And then everyone is asking “how are you, are you feeling better”. It’s really incredible, made me feel like home and truly cared for above and beyond.
Even the driver they have is amazing the car is clean, snd the way he drive is extra gentle and careful make you feel safe. You know they put in all that extra effort to add to the experience."
