What a great stay we had! The room was so clean and spacious and had everything we needed. It was wonderful to cook in the well appointed kitchen with an amazing view of Mount Cook and the other mountains all around. Our hosts were so great, thank you for all the extras for a wonderful breakfast. We also loved being able to see the huge sky all around. Its amazing for star gazing. We will definitely be back again to the Pukaki Air Lodge!

Our room was huge, clean and had plenty of seating and blankets. The host was lovely and the included breakfast (make your own eggs and cereals, fruit, yogurt) was fantastic. The views were spectacular from the upstairs lounge and from the big shared kitchen. It would have been nice to have a space in the bathroom to put our toilet kits but other than that the stay was perfect.

Great room and although Mary (the owner) wasn’t there, keys and welcome letter was laid out on reception so able to get into room, later on did load of washing and dried for $10, only issue was with the WiFi which wasn’t working and the “maintenance man” was apparently working on it although just back from holiday but as the TV relied on the internet also wasn’t at all good and let everything down, continental breakfast was good (included)

Great little spot

Great stay! Great little place, very quiet and private with unique views across the air field. Staff were very nice and breakfast was a welcome surprise. Fairly priced, I would stay again without hesitation

What a unique property. Staying on an airport runway in a converted hangar with real planes was a highlight. We are so glad that we chose Pukaki Air Lodge. Mary is a wonderful host and made our stay so enjoyable. We loved our tour of the hangar and seeing the planes. Our room was spacious and so well appointed. Day and night views were amazing, especially the night stars on a clear night. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and cateres for everyones needs, including Gluten Free. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Pukaki lodge. The room is clean and spacious with sets of sofa. Mary, the owner, is very friendly and gave us tips on visiting Mt Cook national park. The breakfast is basic, but tasty and does the job. The view from the room is great.

We loved staying here. Very quiet, owners are wonderful. Kitchen available to cook in for dinner. Breakfast provided in the morning, eggs available to cook yourself, cereal, yogurt and even had GF bread available. Grocery store very close drive. Owners were easy to correspond with before stay.

This place has it all going for it. Super modern feel and the comfort to match. This place is beautifully kept and the wife and I felt right at home here. The staff was super nice and the breakfast that they offered was top notch. This place gets all top scores and we can't rave about it enough. We didn't really want to leave the views and the comfort of this place!

Pukaki air lodge is exclusively positioned near the shores of Lake pukaki and literally next to the airport runway is the most spectacular scenery in the area.. This place is designed to maximize the panoramic views of the mountains and the most beautiful sunsets.. Our hosts Mary and her partner are so kind and warm, and gave us access to the communal kitchen for all needs and necessities.. Highly recommended staying here..

Glorious stay, through and through! Unique hotel situated right on the airstrip with a clear view of the mountain range. Beautiful sunsets. Clear starry skies Perfect way to end your day hiking by Mt Cook. Also we even plans take off and land (even saw a skydiver coast down). The owners are so welcoming. They showed us the hanger with their restored historic plane. The rooms and large and beautifully decorated. Modern bathrooms. Comfortable beds made for a great sleep. Wonderful breakfast and great send off. We cannot get over how wonderful of a stay we had.
