This is an older hotel -clean with very nice people running it. The pool area is delightful. The rooms on the street front are subject to considerable vehicular noise, motorcycles, 4-wheel atv’s and heavy trucks -in the back it’s quieter. It’s a short walk to the beach and good restaurants. Puerto Escondido is a bit of a Wild West when it comes to noise pollution. There is no regulation. If you’re prepared to put up with the noise it’s a nice place to visit.

Place is in a good location close to everything, hotel it's self a little out dated but nice
Great hotel, very clean and staff is good.
Walking distance to the beach and able to go to other beach’s from there. Nice shopping area at night. Conveniently located to stores and Restaurant's. Make sure you know this room does not have air conditioning.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Shower and ac worked well.
Pool was clean and excellent place to cool off in the evening. Very high cleaning standards.
Great value for money.
The street is closed to vehicles every night for street market. Mostly touristy stuff and food but still cool. On Wednesday nights only a nightclub near the hotel plays LOUD music til 3 a.m. not the hotel's fault, but be aware. Mexico is noisy😀 I will stay here whenever I come to Puerto rscondido
This is my first time in Mexico. I’m a female solo traveler and booked this hotel sight unseen. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. My room had a beautiful balcony overlooking the street which closes at 5 pm to become a vendor market. The pool was relaxing and everything was very clean. Highly recommend!
Staff was nice. Pool was comfortably cool. Bed/bedding were comfortable. Kitchen had a refrigerator (don't forget to plug it in! It's unplugged when you arrive), toaster (didn't work), tiny 2 burner plate, coffee pot - no microwave. Shower temp was lukewarm at best. Nighttime noise was pretty high, especially incredibly loud live music on Wednesday night which kept me up til 2am. The street in front of the hotel closes to car traffic every day 5-10pm (ish?) for a tourist market, so when I ordered a grocery delivery for 8pm my first day... it didn't go well. (No Uber Eats or Didi Food here, btw.) If you like tourist/beachy shops, seafood, small beach with boats, watching fishermen - this is a great location. Bring sandals - the sand will literally burn your feet.

They stuck me in a room in the back with no air conditioning for the first two nights. Finally, I was able to get an air conditioning room, but had to pay extra. Other than that, the hotel was in good shape and the staff was pleasant enough.

We stayed here for 10 days Jan / Feb 2026. We booked the junior suite which in the pictures showed a small kitchenette with a full size fridge, coffee machine, toaster, etc. When we were given the key to the room there was only a mini fridge. It was quite disappointing. I showed them the picture of the room I booked and they said there was no room like that in the hotel. They did find me a coffee maker.
The hotel is old and needs maintenence but was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the staff very nice.
The location is great. It is only a street away from the beach, and is right in the middle of the Adonquin area. Be warned it is on a busy street and doors don't seal so it can be pretty noisy. The garbage truck every morning at 5, general party noises and a wicked loud disco Wenesday night that goes well into the morning.
I have stayed here multiple times and always enjoy it.
The staff are wonderful, from the maids and all the front desk guys....they always make my stay feel welcome.
