"This cannot be a 5 Star hotel. It should not be more than 3 stars. It is a very old hotel, staff was not helpful, we paid for breakfast during booking but they said its not included in spite of me showing them on the booking app. Location is not ideal, its very far from the airport and main lively area, unless you have a car its not convenient getting anywhere. Amenity timing is not good, bathroom and room also was not the best. The only good thing about this hotel was the view from the room-ocean view, that's it. We paid a lot for a 5 star experience but were disappointed. "
"A lovely hotel, outdoor pool was well heated even though the weather was cloudy it was a very pleasant swim. Breakfast was plentiful and nice. Overall a great stay and would recommend "
"I was in a room facing the hotel pools, so no view to speak of. Good central location age easy to enjoy the ocean across the street.
Julio ( I hope i have the spelling correct was amazing in the dining room. Very welcoming and willing to speak English and help me out.
Room cleaning was equally amazing and accommodating to my requests not to have the room done everyday.
Overall i found the housekeeping to be very environmentally aware.
Older ladies in the front desk could do with some customer service training. "
"We were upgraded to an Ocean View Suite and it was superb. The views were amazing. It was my birthday while there and we came back to our room to find a balloon, Cava and chocolate, it was a lovely surprise. Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful. We often stay in Puerto de la Cruz but until now have never found accommodation we were happy with. Now we have and we will definitely stay again.
Small but important thing… the balcony door did not have a handle outside. The door had closed itself behind my husband while he was outside and he couldn’t get back in! Luckily, I could open the door but if we had both been out there, we would have been stranded! "
"Our stay here was excellent and we felt well taken care of throughout the stay. We were greeted with a glass of Cava on arrival, booked the standard double but received a large corner room with two balconies and a lovely view of the hills and Teide. Clean room and daily housekeeping.
Great selection at the buffet breakfast. The hotel felt modern, clean and well placed away from the busyness of the coast strip, but still close enough to get out and explore Puerto.
Pool was on the smaller side but well maintained. We paid for access to the spa on the last day, the jacuzzi was out of service and hidden by a shoddy paper wall, but we received a €5 discount.
Only things I could fault is that our room got very hot and the AC did not work. As well as that our stay only included breakfast, but we arrived late the first night and had a few of slices of pizza at the buffet as it was closing up... €25 each at the end of the stay! Only our fault really, but I wish we were told up front how much it would cost.
Regardless, I highly recommend Atlantic Hills!"
"Nice hotel, lovely spa but the only issue is you have to pay additional fees even if you’re a hotel guest to use at the spa and that’s excluding treatments!"
"We had a nice room with gorgeous ocean view. The hotel has very spacious common areas. Free parking was not hard to find. It has easy access to the highway, in case you are planning driving to many of the surrounding viewpoints. This hotel would be particularly convenient for visiting Loro park. Staff was polite and very helpful."
"This hotel is definitely not 4* as it claims. I found the people at the reception to be unhelpful and sometimes down right rude. When I got the hotel I discovered to my horror that they are renovating on the floor above me with noise of banging and drilling going on for most of the day, the worse thing was that when I booked the hotel on Expedia nowhere did it say that there are any renovations in progress during my stay. The room itself was nice comfortable and clean but the hotel itself was boring, there was some silly entertainment at night and I found the food to be unimaginative, and repetitive.
The saving grace to this trip was the glorious weather and beautiful Tenerife. And I would definitely visit Tenerife again.
This hotel might be some people's Cup of tea, mine it was absolutely not and would not stay there again even if was free!! "
