This is a beautiful hotel tucked away in a little river. We loved Liesel, the hostess. She helped us with check-in because you do need to park at Ram Marina and get a boat ride to arrive at the hotel. The restaurant was delicious and we loved our stay.

The property is quaint and so very charming with a eclectic theme throughout. You may have a chance to say hello to the resident cats and dogs, plus see ducks, and howler monkeys lying g about in the trees overhead. It is quiet, relaxing and welcoming. The best thing about the entire stay is the food. The proprietor is a delightful chef and you can tell, she loves to cook. With a nice menu, she definitely goes to great lengths to make a meal you are sure to enjoy. You must try different things but evening pasta or a tomahawk steak cannot be overlooked! We will return to this property when visiting Rio Dulce again.

The attention to detail in every square foot of this property was amazing. From the owner greeting us, to the staff! Highly recommended!

Nice place when you want a quiet of the city experience. Accessible by a water taxi from Ram Marina. 35 Quetzals overnight. We paid for room with breakfast and continental breakfast never disappoint. The room must be very nice when it was new or on different season. Electricity gets off at some point in the night and generator turns on only when the proprietor decides to. The rooms get very hot when electricity gets off. Very nice when cold. Eco friendly energy and water set up. Needs some cleaning. We checked in on slow season so probably that’s why the place looked nothing like photos advertised. Host is helpful. Wifi on property. No valets as advertised. Parking on the Marina and additional fee to go to property and out.

I was charged twice for the same reservation, and despite bringing it to the hotel's attention, they refused to issue a refund or cooperate in resolving the issue. The duplicate charge should have been straightforward to investigate and correct, but instead I was met with poor customer service and no meaningful effort to address the problem.

Really nice Hotel

This is a very charming hotel that you can get to it only by boat from the little village. You should pay 25 to get there. Do not pay more than 50.!!! The hotel is very charming. The Was are very nice. They have a nice restaurant but it’s little expensive every item that I tried was amazing.!!!!! They have kayak to rent and they can arrange for a boat tour for you

Abundance of tropical plants, saw parakeets flying around (instead of being in gage), heard monkeys, etc. Their website should say clearly, you can Not reach this property by land, Instead by boat only.

Getaway

The location is great if you want to get away from the town. It is a 10 min boat ride to the location of the property. The place is great to relax and rest up. There is a time schedule of how often the boat goes back to the town so you have to plan accordingly. They do offer activities while you are there. For the most part, this place is great, the only downside is that there is NO free parking as it is advertised on their page.

not good

The room fee is cheap，but the meal is very expensive and not so good，other expenses are all expensive，every is charged，FAN is bad，hot water is not default，you need to check，any way it's bad

Mooi gelegen. Keuken lekker. Kamers perfect.

Wij verbleven in een tent en dat zou normaal gesproken goed zijn geweest. Helaas kregen wij tijdens de nacht een stortbui over ons heen. In de tent werd het behoorlijk nat. Met mooi weer zeer goed alleen vonden wij de luchtmatraszsn te hard opgeblazen.
