Hotel Miramare - Adults Only

10/10 Excellent

"This was our last stop after a wonderful Venice and Trieste visit. This hotel sits a bit beyond downtown Trieste and offers a gentle retreat from all the urban fun. There is the gracious Miramare castle just a short walk from the hotel along a tree lined promenade that stretches both ways along the sea. The hotel is minimalist by design but still comfortable. We chose the spa experience which was well worth it for two travel weary friends. Breakfast was exceptional and staff so friendly and helpful. We had a terrace outside our room where we lounged and admired sunrise and sunsets..... We could not ask for a better experiene! Thank you to all the team!"

"Pros: parking on site for 20 euros per night, Decent sized bright room with high ceiling. Big walk in shower with great water pressure. Easy walk to attractions. Cons: WiFi/data service was bad! Our room looked at a wall. Minimal counter space in the bathroom for toiletries. The mattress was too hard for our taste."
