Charmant établissement bien situé

Nous avons passé quelques jour sur Praslin dans cet établissement. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à la Modestie Villa. Le cadre était charmant, la chambre spacieuse et confortable. L'établissement est très bien situé, très bien tenu et le personnel très sympa. La présence des tortues un vrai plus. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet établissement plein de qualités.

3 nuits à Praslin

Séjour de 3 nuits à La Modestie Villa, grande chambre lumineuse et climatisée et vaste salle d'eau. Ménage fait tous les jours (seul bémol, un peu de poussière sous les lits). Bon petit déjeuner, avec omelette, fruits etc... Location de voiture organisée rapidement sur place, prêt de serviettes de plage. Personnel serviable et sympathique. Restaurants à proximité (quelques minutes à pied), ainsi qu'une supérette.

Nous avons du changé plusieurs fois de chambres car on entendait les gens marche au dessus, puis installé dans la nouvelle chambre , problème de Climatisation, petit déjeuner mediocre, je ne recommande pas

Würde nicht wieder buchen.

Zimmer ziemlich alt und schmutzig. Wir haben direkt wieder ausgeckeckt und die Unterkunft gewechselt.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön und wird von einem gepflegten Garten umgeben. Es hat sogar Schildkröten, welche man streicheln und beim Füttern zusehen kann. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Francine hat uns großartige Ausflugstipps gegeben und uns immer gut beraten. Sie hat uns sehr bei Fragen und Anliegen geholfen und alles perfekt organisiert. Wir würden jederzeit dieses Hotel wieder buchen und können es wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Un lieu tout simplement formidable. Ashley est une hôtesse merveilleuse. Elle est agréable et se plie en quatre pour satisfaire ses clients. La villa est magnifique avec un cadre extraordinaire. Je le recommande fortement. Dommage qu’il n’y ai pas de service de Service de restauration sur place. Mais comment lui en demander plus que ce qu’elle fait.Petit déjeuner parfait

Fint och fräscht hotell med trevlig personal

Väldigt fint och fräscht hotell. Föreståndaren var mycket hjälpsam och berättade om aktiviteter på ön. Dock fanns inte så gott om restauranger i närheten utan det hade behövts en hyrbil. Men nära till en fantastisk strand.

La Modestie Villa è un luogo carino e molto pulito. Inoltre è vicino a diversi market e ristoranti. La spiaggia più vicina, anche se non è il massimo per gli standard del posto, è a 5 minuti a piedi. Emir è stato molto gentile così come il suo staff! Se tornassi a Praslin tornerei di sicuro in questa struttura

absolut empfehlenswert

Wir wurden persönlich in Empfang genommen und von da an fühlten wir uns auch direkt willkommen und absolut gut versorgt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber dennoch recht zentral. Ein Auto hatten wir nicht. Mit dem Bus kommt man aber auch problemlos überall hin und die Fahrt ist mit Sicherheit abenteuerlicher. Das Appartement ist hellhörig, was uns aber nicht sehr gestört hat. Frühstück haben wir kurzerhand dazu gebucht - eine gute Entscheidung! Emir war jederzeit ansprechbar für uns, hatte Insider-Infos und hat uns super unterstützt. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür!!!

Qualité et professionalisme

Le séjour à été parfait avec l'aide d'Emir, chambre spacieuse et propre, très bon petit déjeuner et superbe jardin avec Tortues. L'equipe de la villa Modestie a été super accueillante, toujours a l'écoute des demandes, que de bons conseils venant d'Emir, le manager. Restaurant, market, plage a proximité. Merci pour le superbe séjour, mention spéciale à Chantal, la femme qui à été comme une maman pour nous, toujours souriante.

Fabulous stay thanks to Emir

We stayed at La Modestie for 2 nights this augest.From check in we had an amazing experience as even though we arrived well before check-in time, Emir had a room prepared for us which was much appreciated. He told us lots of helpful information about the island and advise on where to see and what to do. The room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, with restaurants and a bus stop 2 minute walk from the guesthouse. Breakfast is served between 8am and 9am and is light and refreshing. On our second morning we had a trip booked to La Digue and had to leave the guesthouse before breakfast was being served. However Emir went out of his way to ensure breakfast was served to us before we left for the day. On our day of departure, we were allowed to checkout late and Emir personally offered to drive us to the airport. Would really recommend staying at La Modestie while visiting Praslin. Thanks a lot Emir for a fantastic stay!

Ładnie, czysto, klima chodz jak żyleta. Obsługa super pomocna, śniadania smaczne, można zjeść również kolacje, też była pyszna. Rowery rozklekotane, jak we wszystkich wypożyczalniach na wyspie. Prom mieliśmy po zakończeniu doby hotelowej - umożliwiono nam pozostawienie bagaży i kąpiel po powrocie z plaży. Odwieźli nas na prom, mimo, że to za rogiem. Ogólne wrażenia b. pozytywne.

Excellent séjour, accueil chaleureux, appartement propre, clair, calme avec une bonne literie et une grande terrasse spacieuse donnant sur jardin. Petits déjeuners succulents. Environ proche de toutes commodités, excellente situation sur l'ile. Etablissement vivement recommandé.

Nette Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage. Der deutschsprachige Besitzer gab uns wertvolle Tipps über die Insel. Wir waren nur eine Nacht da, würden aber gerne wiederkommen. Das Zimmer war sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Uns haben auch die Riesenschildkröten im Garten gefallen.

A thief in the night

I was woken at 3am by what sounded like a key being turned in the door to our apartment. I sat up, touching my wife to rouse her. She said her bag was missing from where she had left it, beside the bed, with her purse inside. She found the bag by the door, the purse on top, open, with 350 rupees in notes missing. I was alarmed for my own bag, which I had left lying on the floor by the door, containing a treasure trove by comparison. It was still there, with nothing missing. The window over the kitchen sink was closed but unlocked. The door was also unlocked, with the keys in place. We had got off lightly, though the more we thought about what the thief had done, creeping over to our bed, where we lay naked, with not even a sheet over us because of the heat, the more uncomfortable we felt. I was certainly at fault in failing to check the kitchen window but I don't think this would have mattered so much if we hadn't been in the last apartment in a row of three, well away from the main accommodation block. There was no external lighting at that end, and anybody could have approached unseen. We didn't sleep so soundly after that. Often, during the night, I would hear a sudden noise, and sit up, alarmed. I was also very mindful of the fact that during heavy rain – of which there was a lot – the noise of the downpour would have totally obscured that of a forced entry, never mind whatever feeble cries of alarm we would have been capable of!

Sehr hellhörige Zimmer - keine Nachtruhe möglich

WIr haben das Zimmer bezogen und mussten zu unserer Enttäuschung feststellen, dass diese sehr hellhörig sind. Man hört jeden Schritt uns jedes Wort des Hotelpersonals, welches offensichtlich eine Etage darüber wohnt. Der gesamte obere Bereich ist nur dem Hotelpersonal zugängig und die Hotelzimmer befinden sich allesamt in der daruntergelegenen Etage. Als wir am darauffolgenden Nachmittag die Probleme ansprechen wollten, war leider niemand zugegen, um Probleme und Lösungen zu besprechen. Daraufhin haben wir uns eine andere Unterkunft gesucht, um nicht unsere wertvolle Zeit auf den Seychellen zu verschwenden. Auf eine kritische Mail an das Hotel erfolgte leider keine Rückmeldung. Beim Checkin wurde ein Mitarbeiter/Freund/Kommunenmitglied/o.Ä. vom Eigentümer äußerst unfreundlich vor unseren Augen des Raumes verwiesen, was auf unseren ersten Eindruck natürlich einen denkbar positiven Eindruck hinterlassen hat.
