Lovely small hotel in the very centre of Prague !

The hotel staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, clean and had a lovely view over the Old Town Square. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we ended up eating in the hotel restaurants 3 out of our 4 nights stay.

Great place to stay in Prague!

Friendly, great service, great location, spacious rooms, great breakfast buffet! It could not have been better. This is a place that has the potential to be a tourist trap (since it has a prime location directly on the Old Town Square) but it isn't!! They work hard at being reasonable, both in attitude and in price. Don't miss having a drink or a meal on the rooftop terrace, it is magical!

This is a very nice old hotel in an excellent location. It can be a bit noisy around the hotel at night. The terrace bar and cellar bar seemed always too crowded for us. Take only cabs by the AAA company. Others are well-known cheats!

Great hotel in the central location.

If you are looking for a fantastic location and are willing to compromize a little on the room size, this hotel is for you. Our family of four had two rooms at U Prince and enjoyed our stay. Right in the Old Town Square 50 feet from the Astronomical Clock, the hotel is a perfect place for a tourist looking for central location and a lot of action. Very nice breakfast and a couple of other restaurants right at the hotel.

Midt i "der alt skjer"

Første gang i Praha. Reiste sammen med venner som har vært der tidligere og fikk som sådann gratis guiding av byen.Oppholdet på hotellet var aldeles strålende. Nyedelig rom (juniorsuite) og personale som gjorde absolutt alt for deg. Neste gang til Praha satser vi igjen å bo på U Prince.

Right in the middle of things

Really no Valet. So parking is a challenge but hotel staff (Patrik) took the car and parked it. No valet tickets - so a trust thing and no problems. Perfect location/the best for Old town. Double windows will not block out 100% of the noise from the square. Breakfast is very good. This is a USA 4 star level and they are not driving you crazy trying to do things for you. Room (Jr Suite) was 2 level and less convenient than a single level. You must eat/get a drink on the roof.

Lige midt i den gamle by ved rådhuset

Havde bestilt en junior suite. Fik et værelse (22) som lå ind imod gården over receptionen. Belysningen i rummet var så dårlig, at man ikke kunne læse en bog! Blev en nat, hvorefter vi fik et nyt værelse (24), som var væsentligt bedre, større og lysere - ikke optimalt - men OK.

Good times in Prague

Excellent, very well managed, staff super friendly and attentive. Excellent location if you want to be central. The rooms were fabulous! We strongly recommend U Prince. From the front desk, to people at the restaurants the attitude is very professional and oriented to the guests' needs. One more: Use the hotel taxi. It is cheaper and safer. The taxis at Prague's train station and airport are a little Mafia. Call the hotel in advance and arrange for a car pick up.

Good place. Great staff. Unfortunately on our third night the club next door started loud music that made sleep impossible. The hotel moved us to a quieter room which helped a little. The music rattled the walls until 4:15AM.

wundervolles Gebäude - als 4-5* Hotel inakzeptabel

Das Haus ist zu empfehlen wenn man in einem wunderschönen Gebäude mitten im Zentrum absteigen möchte. Hierfür ist es ideal und hat auch meine Erwartungen an das Haus erfüllt. Wenn man jedoch einen 4-5 Sterne Standard erwartet bzw. einfach einen dem Preis angemessenen Standard so wird man herb enttäuscht. Keine Ablagemöglichkeiten und kein Duschvorhang im Bad. Die Betten werden abends nicht aufgedeckt, ebensowenig die Vorhänge zugezogen. Natürlich werden diese am morgen auch nicht wieder ordnungsgemäß drapiert. Die Zugstangen sind extrem verbogen. Ein Käfer lag vom 2. bis 4. Tag (Abreise) tot auf dem Fußboden. Die Klimaanlage hängt direkt über dem Bett. Das Personal sowohl in den Restaurants als auch im Hotel ist zwar nicht direkt unfreundlich, aber man ist aus anderen Hotels die vielleicht auch nur 3 Sterne haben, doch anderes gewohnt. Diesen Unwillen mussten wir bei der Reservierung eines Tisches auf der Dachterrasse erfahren (mit 36 Stunden Vorlauf) wo wir entgegen unserem Wunsch in die letzte Ecke platziert wurden. Auch wenn die Terrasse ausgebucht ist erwarte ich als Hotelgast dort bevorzugt platziert zu werden. Aber das lag wohl daran das der Herr Oberweinweiser kein Trinkgeld vorab von mir bekommen hat denke ich.

Hotel U Prince in Prague, CZ

Just completed a 9-day stay at this hotel in Prague, CZ. Overall experience was excellent. The Junior Suite had nonfunctioning AC on arrival. We were moved to a Double Room. The hotel manager contacted Hotels.com, and a refund of the difference in room rates was issued within 24 hrs. Excellent full breakfast included. Room cleanliness was excellent. Free Wi-Fi in room with good signal. Hotel location excellent for sightseeing. Lots of nearby restaurants. Hotel staff excellent in every way. Would recommend this hotel. Would stay here again.

location is perfect

The Hotel, a beautiful old building, is in the middle of the old Prag. From here all sightseeing is in walking distance. The rooms are big and very comfortable.Everything is clean. Sitting on the roofgarden in the evening was so nice. The Hotelstuff was very friendly , the service super. Price for room and food are good. Not to expensive. For sure we will come back,
