"We enjoyed our night’s stay at this property and felt safe. However, the door to room 312 was not tightened properly. We used the upper latch to help secure it even more. Hot breakfast was decent, typical continental style…eggs, sausage, waffles, bread to toast, packets of hot cereal, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. No complaints. The attendant was kind and friendly. Overall, we would return to the property. It’s accessible to nearby restaurants, shops, and the Newport News/Williamsburg...

"The restaurant onsite had great food all three meals . The wait staff was excellent . Very attentive including the bar staff . Check in and out was smooth. It is an older hotel but kept up well and everything was very clean . The view from the porch out to the river is beautiful and relaxing . "
