Bathroom was a no go : need a deep clean. Bugs around the sink (maybe because of the old window that was open when we arrived). Shower curtain was dirty and toilet seat cover was old and didn’t look good.
Staff was super nice when we arrived. Pool looks great. Beds were nice.
Good location, price a little high for the quality.
This place was exactly what we needed. We came for a baseball tournament. The staff was amazingly friendly to the whole team. The kids pretty much took over the whole hotel. The pool was great, the location was right off the highway and close to restaurants. For the price this is unbeatable. If you’re coming for any kind of a baseball tournament, you don’t want to spend a boatload of money. This is your spot. They roll out of grill for us and we grilled in the parking lot for two days straight. The parents hung out. The kids hung out. It was a really good home town vibe. Thank you again!
Overall, we had a pretty good stay, but there were definitely a few things that could be improved. The room itself was nice, the bed was very comfortable, and we really enjoyed having a balcony off our room. The property seemed well maintained, and the location was convenient—not far from the beach and other places we wanted to visit.
We specifically chose the room because it had a jacuzzi, so it was disappointing that the water never got very hot. The shower also had extremely poor water pressure. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, and there was only one washcloth provided for two people. They also only left two sugars for the coffee, which wasn't nearly enough.
On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and helpful. When I asked for additional washcloths and sugar, they were happy to provide them.
There were definitely some things that could use improvement, especially the jacuzzi temperature, shower pressure, and bathroom cleanliness, but overall the comfortable bed, balcony, friendly staff, and convenient location made it a decent stay.
The customer service was amazing, the room was cozy and clean, had a great time swimming in the pool, close to lots of cool places to visit. Overall just a wonder experience and would recommend Wagon Wheel to anyone looking to stay in the Saco area!
The lady who assisted us was very friendly and attentive. The hotel is organized, clean, and well located—just 10 meters from the beach and restaurants. The pool area is wonderful.
We had a great stay! The property was quiet but still close enough to get around easily. The pool was great and the whole stay was peaceful and the relaxing vacation we needed. We will definitely be back!
Great little spot near the Maine coast. Stayed only one night but felt safe, and comfortable. The beds are amazing!!
