"A smallish hotel just steps from the town square, coffee, boulangeries, pastries, a carousel and more. A short walk from the bus stop and train terminal, and a bus ride from the ferry terminal. Good rooms, good shower, everything you could want"

"A good no frills budget hotel with all that is necessary for a single night stay. Plenty of parking and easy to find. An easy 10 minute drive to the ferry terminal. Good selection of buffet foods for breakfast. Bedroom small but adequate, comfy bed, very clean, excellent shower. Would use again for an overnight stay."

"We had a good 3 night's stay in Hôtel Le Louvre. The welcome at reception was a bit odd as the receptionist asked us if we wanted a clean room! We replied of course. Yes, the room was clean so all was well. The room had a good size but did not have much storage space. It had a Bosch coffee machine and 2 coffee pods per day were provided. The bathroom was fairly spacious and had had a bathtub and shower combination. For us having a bath is always a plus point. The hotel is very central and close to a many of restaurants and cafes. A welcome pack of biscuits and 500 ml bottle of water was nice. This is a reliable central 3 star choice in Cherbourg. If we would go back to Cherbourg, we would happily stay there again but we would also look at other options."

"Everything was great very nice. Only issue was that we had no hot water to shower the morning we left, which ironically enough is exactly why we booked them because of a hot water issue at another facility. As we left they told us it was fixed and we could use it but we were already packed up and had plans/timetables for the day. Otherwise it was a great place to stay."

"This hotel is ideally located. Walking distance from the ferry terminal and the town, which boasts great cafe's, restaurants, shops and museums. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It would of been nice to of had a little bit more of a choice for breakfast and could of been a bit better priced. Otherwise, it is a great hotel, rooms are a good size, quiet and great views. We will be staying there again for sure."
