Holiday trip

We enjoyed our stay as a family. Excellent service from the lady at the receptionist, she is the best. I will visit the place again anytime I'm in PE. I will also recommend the place to anyone. Although Hotels.com made a wrong booking for me and was not even ready to come up with a better solution, the lady at Onse was very helpful.

Nicely appointed facility, well located. Disappointing to have to pay R15 for milk to make a cup of tea in the room. Appalling check-out procedure where the check-out lady used my credit card to make an on-line transaction without my approval. Apparently this is normal practice as (she said) they have no card machine. This is very sharp practice and should be stopped.

Superb

We absolutely loved Onsa Khaya and would have no hesitation in going back again. The room was superb and the facilities lovely and Mr and Mrs du Plessis were very kind. We must also make mention of the manageress Reward who we found extremely helpful. Thank you once again for a lovely stay

Nice hotel

This hotel is brilliant and i cant fault it. Amazing views from the rooms of the lagoon as well. My only criticism is the awkwardness of the owners. They live in the villa so it kind of feels like you are in their house. They are also awkward to chat to when sometimes you just want to be left alone. When they arent around then the rest of the staff are also awkward. When we arrived two ladies came out to greet us but just stood beside the car silently. Apart from that the place is great, close to town and the drive up the steep drive is memorable!

Trevligt boende i lugn och avslappnad miljö med väldigt bra läge cirka 300 meter från stranden och Boardwalk. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam och serviceinriktad. Det fanns en del trevliga och prisvärda restauranger i närheten.

A nice place to stay just off the seafront.

Lovely place to stay though it rained when we were there. Hosts very friendly and gave lots of advice. Breakfast not included but you pay for what you eat. Near to some restaurants.

This is a good guest house with fridge and microwave. The location is excellent. The cleaning staff are superb - the rooms were spotless. All staff very friendly and lovely grounds. Areas for improvement are the fans - very noisy and no in room air con. They do try to keep the noise down but sound does travel.

Highly recommended

My friends and I had a lovely stay here, such friendly staff, beautiful clean and comfortable rooms and great to relax by the pool, very safe and secure with free parking. Location was perfect, only 5 minutes walk to the beach and main waterfront restaurants and shops in Port Elizabeth. Only 15 minutes drive to the airport to catch our flight back to Joberg.

Everything about this place was professional, friendly, service with a smile, comfortable, relaxing and really gives you that sense of home. Home away from Home.
