"Let me start off by saying that we had a wonderful stay at the Mantra PortSea. The staff at the Mantra PortSea were fantastic. The apartment was clean and big enough for our family of five. We had the sofa bed converted to a bed for our stay. We had a small kitchen that meant we were regular visitors to Coles to buy some food and drink for our stay. "This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. We arrived, anticipating an attractive and heated pool. We discovered a very dirty, shabby out of date pool that was cold. After much communication with Expedia, the owners of the hotel turned up the temperature on the pool. "All needs updating. Mouldy grout in bathrooms. Dirty windowsills and door Rusty bins and old toilet brushes. Dirty worn carpet. Grounds more dirt than grass and shrubs. We stayed in a studio room and asked to be moved. Dark, dingy and depressing."

"We stayed in room 1207. It was very, musty and damp smelling. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and as it costs $20 to replace towels they were wet for our stay unless you wanted to do washing. The kitchen amenities were extremely basic and the TV postion is not viewable from bed..... something that is nice when having a Nana nap on holidays. The outdoor spa wasn't clean. There was 2 cheap broken hair dryers in the bathroom and with so much water on the floor it didn't feel safe to use...
