After getting over the initial disappointment that the "sea view" tents no longer exist, we had a very pleasant stay in tent #2. It was lovely to wake to the jungle sounds and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast (included) was excellent and the staff are a very nice group of people. Of course you can't beat the amazing view from the large lawn facing the ocean. There is also a safe swimming area at the foot of the hill to the left of the path. We had dinner the first night at the restaurant and though it was tasty, we thought it was over priced. Suggestion: The website needs to be updated. We reserved because we wanted a "sea view" tent. Of the 3 jungle tent alternatives offered to us, only one was acceptable (#2). Number 3 had no corresponding toilet/shower unit and number 1, buried in the greenery, felt claustrophobic.

Mixed feelings

Chalet was clean and bed comfortable. Main complex not so much. Windows and handles of chairs were dirty. The main complex furniture is old and feels dirty. Our stay was for 7 days and 5 out of those days there was a serious shortage of variety on food and drinks. The food we receiced was ok. The staff is very friendly and try their best, but can't do much to please the guests without stock. We booked at Sky Island because it has an on-site restaurant, but ended up eating at other restaurants due to almost nothing on the menu being available. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the staff went to a lot of effort to try and make it special and catered for special requests.

Enjoyed our stay in a deluxe tent. Must have a four wheel drive vehicle to get there. Loved the tandem paraglide and scuba diving.

The place is amazing, very peaceful, safe and you can feel the nature, walk on the beach, swim and rest. The staff is very helpful, kind, the food and cocktails are delicious. We stayed in a chalet but unfortunately it was not that clean. When we arrived, the windows were open and the anti mosquitos protections were damaged.
