Great sleep at a cozy place

The location was great for a relaxing stay with plenty of parking spaces. The check-in was smooth and the staff were very friendly and spoke English well. The building is renovated, and the room and bathroom are modern and nice. However there is no elevator available; so for those with knee problems or heavy luggage and rooms on top floors, it might be a bit difficult. The room was very cold when we entered, which became better when we opened the radiators' valves, which were completely closed when we entered the room. It would have been better if the room was brought to a comfortable temperature before our check-in.

Lakeside means mostly road side here

Small hotel located directly at busy main street. Restaurant with limited choice and self service.

Very Nice

Beautiful Family room (apartment w kitchenette). We stayed w 2 kids and found it very comfortable. Beautiful view to the Lake. Good was excellent, local disses, very well made and ok priced. Service was very Good. Overall we had a great time. If you are very sensitive to noise, yes, there is a Road nearby but it was quiet at night.

One night stay

Overall a nice stay. Checked in a litle late. Staf was nice and helpful.We stayed in the apartment in the white house oposit the hotel. The view out of the room was beautiful.Bed was good. Room when we arrived was a litle cold so we had to max the radiator for the night. On the Cleennes of the room it was litle disappointing. Could see glass marks on the windowsill in the smaler room. Our socks turned a litle dirty from the floor. But nothing else was wrong.

So this is a nice place to stay if its probably warmer. the particular challenge I had was it was close to 0C and the corner room at max radiator was just too cold. If you look at the picture. there is not cover sheet and the bedding was a twin on a queen or king mattress. I asked for a sheet to cover the bed and they brought another small twin comforter that is to small to keep me covered. I ended up staying at a different spot the second night just so i could sleep with out being to cold. The room doesn't have any old world feel and it is nicely remodeled to up-to-date standards. a nice breakfast area and choices to eat.

Fint hotell som kan rekommenderas

Vi stannade i Plön för några dagar som avslutning av vår semester där vi var på kryssning ifrån Bremerhaven. Plön ligger på vägen tillbaka till Sverige och området är väldigt fint. Vi gjorde dock misstaget att boka vanligt rum som ligger mot vägen och den är så väldigt trafikerat att det inte gick att sova med öppnat fönster. Annars var allt perfekt. Kostnadsfri parkering (tyvärr ingen möjlighet att ladda bilen) riktig god frukost och ett bra läge för att göra utflykter. Har dock ingen restaurang där man kan äta kvällsmat. Men finns en del att gå till i närheten. Båt rundtur på olika sjöar kan man göra direkt ifrån en brygga vid hotellet.
