Hotel Barcelona Princess

"This hotel is amazing. Very well located, by the beach, with views to the Sagrada Família, close to public transportation and in front of a Mall with great stores and a great food court, pharmacy, supermarket, etc. The staff went above and beyond and the concierges were very friendly and knowledgeable with tips and maps. The panoramic elevator is a plus! The breakfast is wonderful and delicious. The rooftop pool is awesome and the gym is very well equipped. We will be back!"

"The hotel is a modern and new hotel. Clean. Staff is friendly. Rooms are spacious. However the pool is tiny! The photos are very misleading, the pool is the size of a hot tub. Do not book this hotel if you’re looking for a hotel with a view and pool on their rooftop. The food is not good either. I found that the chicken was not cleaned properly. The drinks are great! Rooms are clean and spacious. The most IMPORTANT thing is the safety/security issue. This hotel is in an up and coming neighborhood aka gentrification!! The neighborhood is very sketchy. You will be in the middle of the hood. We saw 1 block away a drug addict with needle tracks up and down his arm. A lot of people hanging outside the buildings. Rats and large roaches outside as well. At night walking back to the hotel can be very concerning and unsafe. The hotel has no security. If you are females or have young children I would not book here. Men it’s up to you if you feel safe as a group walking through this to get to the hotel."

"Overall, a great hotel. Very close to the beach. Had a nice sea view room, would recommend opting for that. Easy transport in and out of the city. The pool is lovely, but quite busy at times. The fitness room is great. Breakfast was very good, highly recommend adding this to your stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. there are few convenience stores nearby. The hotel is close to the beach and a short walk to a couple of very nice shopping malls. Expect about a 20 minute cab ride to most major tourists attractions, There is cab stand beside the hotel."

"Great size room for a family of 4 and very clean. Breakfast buffet was great to quickly get the day started. 10 minute walk to the beach but otherwise a 10-15 minute cab ride to most top locations but Ubers were very reasonable. If you are going to do half City attractions and then some outside exploration with a rental car this is a great location. Wish it had a pool with the summer heat, it’s affiliated with another hotel a few blocks away with rooftop pool access but not really worth the walk, it’s an oversized bathtub. If you want to rent a car you can grab one in the Hilton Diagonal Mar lobby. Overall a good, very clean hotel."

"Flight got cancelled and staff did not charge us for night we missed, we truly appreciated the gesture. All staff were super friendly. Provided taxi service to airport. Far from center but metro station nearby, really affordable!! Recommend!! Room was small but convenient and clean + AC."

"I travelled here solo and found every staff member i came across so kind and helpful. Breakfast was great! Location is close to the beach, accessible to public transit (I didn’t personal use it), and easy to find taxi/ride shares. Rooms were clean, well equipped. Small bodega / store just across the street for basic snacks / drinks / alcohol. I felt very safe as a solo, female traveler. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend!"
