"Our three night stay at Guest House Forty Four was just perfect. The room was light and airy, old character mixed with modern living, every convenience you can think of was provided, beautiful shower room with mirrors, toiletries and towels. The staff were most attentive, nothing was too much trouble and we were collected from the transfer taxi at the city gate by Raphaella, who insisted on carrying our luggage. "This is a true boutique hotel- no amenities no pool, no lobby even but the room is clean, charming looking and fairly spacious for Europe and the location is 100/100- close to all restaurants within the Old Wall- there are no elevators so you will have to carry luggage up the stairs to the hotel and then up stairs to your room."
