"The disabled access room was excellent, the buffer breakfast was very good. Only issue with the hotel was the room telephone did not work, despite best efforts of staff. Had to use reception desk phone to call my bank overseas. Fettykill restaurant next door was a disaster, was refused dinner on the 1st night, despite arriving 1hr before closing, because they had already shut kitchen at 8:30pm. 2nd Time despite booking table, most food was gone, food served cold, waitron never came back after...

"We stopped at the Pine Marten for 2 nights. The hotel is in a very convenient spot and was well located for us. Our room was fine - clean and comfortable with all the basic facilities necessary. Check in and check out was easy. We had a ground floor room with level access. The staff at the hotel and associated pub were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and they were very keen to make sure that my food allergies were catered for. A good hotel 👍"

"Beautiful property overlooking North Berwick golf links and the sea. If you are looking for a small quaint European hotel this isn’t the place. This is a large property with spacious rooms. Very nice spa. Great access to the golf links or a walk to the beach. Relatively short walk to downtown. "

Holiday Inn Express Glenrothes, an IHG Hotel

"The disabled access room was excellent, the buffer breakfast was very good. Only issue with the hotel was the room telephone did not work, despite best efforts of staff. Had to use reception desk phone to call my bank overseas. Fettykill restaurant next door was a disaster, was refused dinner on the 1st night, despite arriving 1hr before closing, because they had already shut kitchen at 8:30pm. 2nd Time despite booking table, most food was gone, food served cold, waitron never came back after serving food. Had to go to bar to order more drinks, restaurant manager surly and unhelpful. Not a good reflection on hotel."

Perfect Fife stop

"The room was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom also spotless. Linda is an excellent host from the moment i arrived nothing was to much trouble. As for the breakfast what can i say other than excellent. Perfectly cooked if thats your thing or an abundance of other options. As a traveller who stays in between at least 50 hotels a year thos ranks amongst my best stays. 5 star"

Excellent hotel in a good location

"Very nice resort-style hotel away from St. Andrews a bit. Easy access by taxi (not an Uber town). We had a car, but taxi made town and restaurant access easier. Hotel has lovely bar and dining facilities, but St. Andrews is easy to get to as well. We had a woodland suite, which are modern/new rooms a short walk from the main inn. "

"Wonderful! The room, service, food - everything was excellent! Staff was so friendly, we did the B&B option and breakfast was off a menu, so we got to have something different every day. We didn’t plan on having dinner at the restaurant as much as we did, but the food was SOOOO GOOD, it was hard to decide to eat elsewhere. Desert was also delicious. All the staff was so friendly and helpful. The setting is in the country, so lovely views around the property, nice courtyard if the weather cooperates. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again!"
