I was welcomed every time I entered the main door, was offered help with many little requests, and for me the location was great because I love walking. It was 30-40 minutes from central market (I walk a lot) or about 10 minutes or 2 dollars with local taxi. They helped organize a local taxi (tuk-tuk) for 25 a day, and I used a regular taxi for considerably more, but well worth the freedom as I went...

"Staff were amazing and could not be more helpful but the hotel was impossible to locate as it had no sign and was different to the Google maps photo on street view. The room was basic and there was mould in the fridge and bathroom, the shower would flood the entire bathroom after a mere minute, paintwork was chipped and falling to bits and there were holes in the wall that looked to be filled in with some sort of hardended gel? The hotel itself was cluttered and unclean, we also saw a rat coming...
