"This was a lovely hotel. Its great for younger children. Ours are a little older so for them there wasnt alot to do. No sports bar or anywhere to watch the football. But staff were very accommodating and friendly. If you have 1 child better to get a corner room as it has a sofa bed otherwise you have to pay extra for a rollaway which works out more expensive. Breakfast had a lot of options. They wanted to charge 120 baht for oat milk in the room but we just asked at breakfast and they gave it in a takeaway cup as my husband is lactose intolerant so you would expect a 5 star to accommodate this in the room.."

The hotel has a beautiful tropical atmosphere with lush, well-maintained gardens that create a peaceful and relaxing environment. It feels like a quiet oasis while still being conveniently close to restaurants, shops, and Nang Thong Beach. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, making the experience even more enjoyable. The swimming pools were clean and inviting, providing the perfect place to unwind after a leisurely walk on the beach or exploring the local area. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh food, giving you a great start to each day. This hotel is especially ideal for travelers seeking a true rest vacation. "Pristine property right on the beach with spectacular views from the ocean-view rooms. The staff are fantastic and will make sure you’re taken good care of. The rooms are beautifully appointed with super-comfortable beds and there is a nice buffet breakfast available as well. Our check-in process went seamlessly too while we were provided a refreshing beverage. I would highly recommend this hotel for families or romantic get-aways."

"First time in Thailand, and this was perfect for me and my son. After a long tired travel we arrived to be greeted with a cold towel, a fresh scoop of ice cream and the kindest people. The staff is truly amazing and this property is very impressive. It is HUGE and there’s an infinity pool that goes all the way around. Just a few steps from the Andaman sea, swim up bars, excellent food, 24 hour room service, daily maid service, wildlife, and massages all at the fingertips. Id need more space to write about the flora- because it is EXQUISITE. Coconuts, frangiapani, lotus in the ponds. True tropical paradise with all the comfort of home and then some. Rent a bike. Play pool. Go swim. Take a cab to the night market. Meet the local monitor lizard. Paradise."

"Our stay at The Sands Khao Lak was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The resort is beautiful, immaculately maintained, and perfectly located right on the beach. The pools were incredible, with plenty of space for both families and adults to relax, and the beach itself was peaceful and stunning. What really made our stay special was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. Their hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until the day we left. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve experienced, with a huge variety of delicious options each morning. There were plenty of activities for our kids, making it a wonderful destination for families, while still offering quiet spaces to unwind. We left with amazing memories and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on a future trip to Thailand. Thank you to everyone at The Sands Khao Lak for making our vacation so memorable.
