No price adjustment was made. The property has a beautiful view of the lake, and a quaint ambiance. I want to support local business, and I did not want to travel to a large chain hotel in Pembroke, even for a cheaper price. Overall, the Sands could use some improvements. For the $200 price, I was seriously disappointed. Make the trek to a better hotel for your money. It had recently snowed, and the walkway was not cleared at all. "

"Was woken up at 2 am by a lady staying next room over. Screaming and yelling my tv was too loud Tv was on but on mute In the morning loading my car was verbally abused by the same women. Besides that all was good "

"Came by snowmobile and parked outside the room.About a 1km ride on a side street but wasn't bad. Owner was awesome and drove us to the liquor store,then offered to drive us to and from dinner,as we are a little out of town.We ordered pizza in and it was great. I would go back without hesitation. "
