Great & friendly hotel / hostel .

Well the hotel / hostel is excellent. The staff are so friendly and they are so patient with my rotten spanish! Hotel at 3 mns from the main square ( and i walk slowly) Internet connection 4 G. I do recommend it.

Hotel Cafeira provides basic hotel services. The best thing about this hotel is its location in downtown Pereira… many attractions (like the four squares) are minutes away walking. There are several coffee shops near the hotel like Medio Oscuro … I also suggest visiting “Queso y Cafe” at Carrera 6 and Calle 21. I also suggest visiting Victoria Mall for food … the food court has stunning view on couple of attractions. The breakfast is very basic and consists of eggs, one piece of cheese, one type of fruits, coffee, piece of bread. This hotel is famous with groups as I saw groups/buses on every day of my stay … it was exciting to see many people but challenging as they all show up at same time to breakfast and I barely find a table to sit on it. The service was average. The room has an air conditioner and my room was at the corner with views to the street and city. There are two towels only in washroom and each one of them is 1/2 or 1/3 the normal shower towel. No fridge. No safe. No coffee machine. You can also hear the guests in the adjacent room when they talk or even snore at night. The free Wifi was good. There is a TV that I did not use.

No cable box, called about it and they told me it was a problem with the hotel. I explained that I just needed the box, but they didn't send one up. The remote was only for a box, not for the television...so I couldn't even use the smart TV functions. When I checked in, I had reserved two rooms - one of them a superior room, they tried to pawn me off on a normal double room. The other room they did not provide a control for the air conditioning (but did bring up a cable box...) so the room was uncomfortably hot all night.

Los dos primeros días no tuve agua caliente y a pesar de solicitar solución no lo hicieron, la habitación tenía ventilador exageradamente ruidoso.. pedí cambio de habia ración y mejor un poco… el desayuno es lo mismo todos los días no muy bueno. El almorzó regular y muy costoso. En otra oportunidad tomaría otra opción.
