"Our room was perfect. It was perfectly clean, spacious, beautifully furnished with a view of the canal. The breakfasts were deliciously prepared with care. They kept the downstairs stocked with free cold water and various sodas and good wines at a very low cost. It was an absolute joy to experience this hotel that Katy and Olivier obviously put in so much of themselves to remodel from an old home and that they run with such care and detail. "It was bitterly cold… And I was delayed by wintry weather in Manchester Airport and arrived much later than expected… The hotel staff responded by email to my email telling them that I would be late… And had prepared my room with an oil filled radiator pumping away at 24 C when I arrived….wonderful service …for which many thanks to the courteous and considerate staff."

"The room was very large which was great, but a tad worn. the decor was fun. The night desk staff person was very welcoming and a delight. There is a lovely cat outside. Parking onsite was convenient and the walkable location to La Cite was perfect!"

"We just stayed one night and it was in a great location. It was right across from the medieval fortress. My room was very nice and clean. I had some trouble with the heat and patio door, but the receptionist attended to the matter immediately and solved the issue.
