"While I wanted to love this place because I love a historic hotel and the staff were beyond kind and thorough, the age and lack of maintenance became deterrents rather than charming. A smell of age, and not in a good way, permeates the property. Inside the room, things are dirty and worn down. The chair was covered with a myriad of stains and some kind of physical substance (perhaps food?). The bathroom grout, floor boards, and fixtures all needed attention. And, unfortunately, the smell permeated everything. We made it through the night as we were moving on in our vacation the next day, but it’s not a place I would recommend even for a night, sadly. There is so much potential with a great building and staff; it just really needs some significant maintenance and an ongoing plan for thorough cleaning."

"My family and I arrived there late aftee a long day of being in the airport hoping to get a good shower and decent sleep. When we arrived I surveyed the room and immediately noticed the "renovations" weren't much more than the signature wallpaper and classic Courtyard furniture. The bathrooms specifically were quite disgusting! The guy that checked us in tried his best to rectify my discovery of a dirty tub with hair and stains, by moving us to another room. I asked to inspect this new room before commiting to the move since it didnt have as much space, but much to my dismay the tub in the new room had a ring around and it and stains on the floor of the tub. The wallpaper had stains, the towel rack for the hand towels was hanging on my a nail, the carpets were worn and black with dirt The only only saving grace that the sheets were visibly clean and that we were able to leave the following morning. Additionally the walls were paper thin! The banging overhead, the planes flying by, and the guy across from us who had a 2 hour meeting at 7 am, we heard ALL of it! The project manager seemed to have a productive meeting at least. Needless to say we won't be back."
