Introuvable, extérieur très sale,

Nous avons chercher l'hôtel pendant 2 heures dans un rayon de 2 KM. et d'autres personnes aussi, mais eux on décider de louer un autre hôtel. Aucune indication de l'hôtel sur les petites routes de terre en montagne, route bon un 4X4!!! Hôtel est perdu dans les arbres, pas comme sur la photos et quand on l'a trouvé le proprio n'était pas la à 16 hrs. On a eu la chance de connaître quelqu'un qui le connaissait et il est venu avec nous à l'hôtel et à téléphoné au Propriétaire.....Pas internet à notre chambre. Le soir a 6 hrs il nous dit pas de resto ce soir, rien à manger....on ferme la porte, et vous devez faire internet sur la terrasse avec les moustiques, sans lumière, . Le propriétaire regardait la TV. juste de l'autre coté de la porte......Bien sur, on était le seul client. Une fille est venu le matin nous préparer le déjeuner, elle parlait Anglais, gentille mais elle n'avait que une heure pour l'hôtel parce que elle en a d'autres. Elle nous supplié de faire une bonne évaluation. Désolé pour elle, mais nous devons penser au futur client. Moi comme tous, on regarde les évaluations....Je n'aime pas être négatif mais la....

Hotel charmant

Placé en hauteur avec une très belle vue sur la baie de Patti. Il offre des chambres bien aménagé , avec des terrasses donnant sur un beau jardin. Le repas proposé en supplément est excellent et complet.

Not a happy choice

Location is for those who want to be far from civilization - long climb up partly unpaved hairpin turn drive. Pleasant surroundings once there, but for anyone looking for comfort, this is not the place. Sparse furnishings, not a shelf, hook or soap dish in bathroom. Light too dim to read & TV reception fuzzy. The one unexpected "luxury" was extra pillows. Did not have dinner there, so can't speak for food, but breakfast somewhat disappointing - this is an agroturismo hotel supposed to feature local products, which seem to be primarily citrus trees, pecans and olives & we were hoping for fresh fruit or juice. What we got was coffee, a small serving of toast, cookies and chocolate filled croissants - the latter homemade, but not appealing (to us at least) at 8 AM. However, the people who run the place were very nice & the price was reasonable for Sicily, so if comfort is not important & you don't mind being a good distance from the nearest tourist attractions, Monte Alto might be the place for you.

Hyggelig hotell med fantastisk utsikt

Monte Alto er et hotell som liggerr rett bak byen, med fantastisk utsikt over byen og havet. Hotellet består av flere små bygninger. Det var god mat, hyggelig betjening og flott beliggenhet. En meget hyggelig opplevelse.

Monte Alto : un petit coin de paradis

Le cadre de cette chambre d'hote est clairement splendide tout comme les chambres aménagées avec simplicité mais de manière très agréable. Le repas du soir est succulent, les plats se suivent, ne se ressemblent pas mais sont tous plus bons les uns que les autres. Toutes ces qualités pour un prix si petit c'est clairement impensable et pourtant c'est bien ce qu'on trouve à Monte Alto ! Et une mention spéciale pour le propriétaire et le personnel : on ne peut faire plus accueillant et gentil.
