"My husband and I arrived in Whangarei unexpectedly due to a medical emergency. After being discharged from the local hospital we booked the Lodge Bordeaux at the recommendation of the port agent. From the moment we checked in Josh, one of the owners at the front desk, was so welcoming and accommodating. For the two days we stayed to take a breather and plan our travel and return home, was so helpful in restaurant and travel recommendations for our return to Sydney. The Lodge is so quaint, clean and is equipped with all you would need for an enjoyable stay. Thank you Josh for all your help and support!"
