I’ve only stayed in this area while visiting Paris, and this is the first stay in a hotel rather than an apartment. The area is one of the older in Paris, so some age on the property is expected. The rooms were certainly comfortable. They could, however, use some updating. Cleaning could be slightly improved as well.

The quadruple room was perfect for a family lovely bathroom, comfy beds, very clean, coffee facilities, and opposite a nice boulangerie so we didn’t bother with breakfast.

This was the perfect hotel for our stay in Paris! It was a very easy walk to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Seine river and also close to the metro station for easy transportation elsewhere. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful when we needed a few things during our stay. The area felt very safe, even when we were walking late at night. We will definitely be considering this hotel if we come to Paris again!

The staff was very attentive and nice. The location is superb. It’s close and in the middle of the best Paris has to offer. The only thing they need to do is to update their blow dryers. The ladies out there who are dependent on this hair tool would appreciate it. Although they did offer to let me borrow a hair dryer for the room.

The hotel was small but charming and comfortable. It is centrally located and the surrounding areas beautiful and typical Paris. It was located within walking distance from most attractions...Notre Dame, Louvre, Luxemburg Gardens, Pantheon, etc. We walked from the Eiffel Tower to the hotel one afternoon. It turned out to be a delightful and memorable experience as we leisurely walked, through the many neighborhoods. The hotel front desk staff were friendly, very serviceable and spoke english. Chris was exceptional. He offered to help retrieve our tour vouchers as well as reserve taxis when we needed them. Always asked if we needed anything. The continental breakfast was outstanding and the staff went out of their way to please us. Food was fresh and tasty. The rooms were small but comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and all amenities functional. The house cleaning staff perform their work exceptionally. We were three couples and all are in agreement with this review. In summary, we expected a 3 star hotel but it turned out to be more like a 4 star to our pleasant surprise. We highly recommend the Left Bank St. Germaine Hotel. You will not be disappointed. The Left Bank Saint Germain is a wonderful hotel in the most amazing artsy fun neighborhood! We loved our stay there and will definitely be back!! Beautifully decorated also!!

Character and charm in the left Bank
Charming French hotel in the heart of the St Germaine. Room was surprisingly large and bathroom was Very good. The lack of a shower curtain does make for a wet bathroom floor. The room had a lot of style And character to it. The reception staff seemed indifferent at best and we’re not particularly helpful.

A lovely, clean room with friendly staff. A very convenient hotel to reach from the Eurostar and easy walking to many places. A couple of minor issues were 3 teabags for 3 people over 24 hours was not enough and the shower gel was not fully replaced after the first day. There were noises in the walls during the night which may have been the pipes.

Old world charm hotel,very quiet considering it was in a busy neighborhood. The room was nicely appointed and the bathroom modernized and everything was very clean. The only complaint was the bed was so hard. Very uncomfortable. Aside from that I really enjoyed my stay.

Charming Paris hotel. Helpful staff. The breakfast was 12euro but well with it. Lovely neighborhood close to good restaurants and very walkable. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Hotel Left Bank during spring break in April and it was a very unique hotel with old-world charm. For the location, it was very quiet, which was really nice. It was also a great location in terms of walking to the Louvre, Notre Dame and other attractions. Breakfast was bit lacking for the price, but there were other great options besides the restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel location is perfect! Just steps away from hundreds of bakeries, cafes, restaurants, and shops. The metro is a two minute walk from the hotel, and the Seine is about a 5-10 minute walk away. The Left Bank and the Latin Quarter is a magical place.
