Excellent location, lovely room, great breakfast & everywhere was spotless. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, which is not to be missed. "We absolutely loved this hotel! We traveled with our 2 teenage daughters and had a 2-bedroom suite, which gave us plenty of space. The room was incredibly clean and very well decorated. "Beautiful room which I think had been recently renovated. Really well appointed kitchen and bathroom too that also seemed brand new. Lovely hostess (Eva?) Who made us feel very welcome . We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend although worth noting there are a lot of steps for anyone with mobility issues."

"Stayed two nights june 24-26, we enjoyed this place and would stay again. Its a bit out of the way and a car is required although there are regular bus stops at the front gate. Had a well manicured garden and nice pool. A rocky beach is about a 3 minute walk. The room was clean, had all the amenities we expected and the bed was comfortable. They have two breakfasts, a light continental and a buffet. The continental was enough for us."

"We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. "Wardrobe had a light in which kept clicking all night keeping us awake. People outside the hotel used the pool and beach seats making it difficult to get a seat. We did not get to go around the pool. Food choice was very poor if you are a vegetarian. Had the poorest food ever in Skiathos around the pool bar - tasteless chicken and cod bites. "Great hotel in a lovely location, amazing views, with really friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and a good size, and was lovely to have the large balcony. It’s also not a really big hotel (compared to some others) so felt nice not having lots of guests around (even though the hotel was full). Would be nice to maybe have a a buffet option for dinner, otherwise the food was very good. We will definitely be back!"

"Stayed 2 nights on return trip from Skopelos. First floor room. Beautiful sea view. Well equipped kitchenette with fridge freezer. Double bed in bedroom with ceiling fan and twin beds in living area with air conditioning. Nice large balcony. Beach over road with sunbeds to rent. 15€ for x2 and parasol. "Our AC didn’t work and the staff knew that and put is in the room. When we asked for help to turn on the AC we were told there’s an issue with the AC in our room and they can’t do anything about it that night. It would’ve been nice to be put in a room that had AC"

"The hotel is situated on the side of a hill which offers great panoramic views across the bay. There are quite a number of steps if you are walking from the pool or bar and restaurant area so may not be suited with those with accessibility needs.
