"Everything was satisfactory except the AC. The bedroom was fine but the rest of the suite was 100 degrees. The caretaker was a nice guy, really helpful. Restaurants easily walked to right on the beach and were reasonable priced. We also cooked in our kitchen, which was fun. The 15 foot tides left bare a half mile of ocean floor twice a day where you could explore, walk to the nearest island and find all sorts of interesting things"

"I had a number of issues that made my stay an unhappy one. However, when asked if I’d enjoyed my stay, the manager was truly interested in hearing about my experiences. He made me feel heard and appreciated my feedback and that meant the world to me.

"Highly recommend this hotel. It is centrally located to all the main attractions of San Felipe. I had a nice room with skylights toward the back (very quiet location, room 112). The staff was very responsive to questions I had (they speak English, if you don't speak Spanish). Many restaurants and shops within walking distance of the hotel."

"I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was very poor. "The neighborhood is completely sketchy. There were people yelling all night until a gun shot around 3:30am. The staff gave no worrying that the neighborhood was not safe but when I went to checkout in the morning the guard was noticeably concerned. Don’t stay here unless you plan to take a taxi straight there and plan to leave via taxi without going out in the neighborhood. You won’t sleep well with the noise outside"
