Too noisy from bar above. They have installed noise doors on the 2nd floor to prevent the music from the bar to get to the rooms on that floor; however, on the first floor they don’t have them. Also, the patrons from the bar go up and down the stairs all night, shouting and laughing. Having those doors can make your guests visit more enjoyable.

Das Frühstück war gut, das Personal nett und es war nicht schmutzig. Aber wir haben für ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad gezahlt, bekommen haben wir ein Bad ohne Tür, nichtmal ein Vorhang und ohne bis zur Decke reichende Wände. Privatsphäre kann man da vergessen. Wen das nicht stört, der wird das hotel lieben.

Not just a “party” hotel, but extremely loud, yelling and onscenities and it Felt like they were In our room!! Very very small room at that.

The hotel was not very clean, with the sheets ripped and the floor kinda dirty. Also, the hot water barely worked and was only on for certain times of the day, which no one told us so I ended up taking a freezing cold shower. They gave me a free drink pass for this, but also, you can hear the music from the bar upstairs even in your rooms, so this is not a place for light sleepers.

First day we didn't get any soap, shampoo, etc. I would also recommend putting in a safe box, considering there are a lot of outside people walking in and out to the rooftop.

It is in a great location in the Old town, am easy walk from points of interest and safe as it is two blocks from the presidential place; with many restaurants and bars nearby. The rooftop has a bar/club - good if you are into that as you don’t have to walk at night or drive; bad if you want peace and quiet. It is an average clean simple no frills hotel at a reasonable price. IF you want a hip place, central, inexpensive - this is the pace for you; if you want the Ritz style with spa, pool, many amentiriwa and a Private concierge, this is not the place for you.

Positives of this property: 1 - Staff - Staff was very friendly and helpful. No complaints here. 2 - Transparency - I see a lot of complaints about the noise in the hotel from the rooftop, and trust me...it's LOUD. But it's by no means a surprise. I read all the reviews. They offered a disclaimer when I checked into the hotel. 3 - Location - Great location tucked away in the heart of Casco Viejo. Lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping all very very close. Negatives: 1 - Room appointment - The images on the Expedia page are completely staged. You won't get any of the adorable appointments they've pictured. The rooms lack anything more than a bed with a white sheet. 2 - Blankets - You won't get one. You get one white sheet. Your one white sheet will have all kinds of stains on it. Some are visible, some are not. Don't hold it up to the light... 3 - Security - This was perhaps my biggest concern. The door to the room is a bedroom door lock. There's no additional security lock. I was so concerned about it I would barricade myself into the room each night and took all valuables with me when I left the room. Nothing at all happened. It's the perception of security that I'm used to in a hotel that does not exist. 4 - Noise - Not a surprise, but it's LOUD. I think this would be a great hotel for a young 20s jumping hostel to hostel, but it's that. A hostel. Not a hotel. If you're used to a Holiday Inn, I wouldn't recommend.
