Colonial is old and outdated
The motel is very tired and needs some love. Outside is run down, fallen fencing, pool turned into a sand pit, just feels dilapidated. Staff were lovely.... But I won't go back.
Daddy long legs everywhere!!!
Very very dirty I’m so glad we didn’t need to use the ceiling fan because it had 2 inches of dust on top of the blades with you guessed it, daddy long legs hanging from it. They were everywhere on the cupboard in the cupboard on the walls, the roof, the floor. Maybe they should invest in a yearly pesticide plan because no amount of cleaning Will get rid of a daddy long legs infestation. The pool - you can’t swim in a pool that’s has become a dumping ground for the gardener. Why is the pool full of tree branches instead of water. I understand some places empty their pools over winter but we are a month into spring and the weather is beautiful. The branches look like they’ve been there all winter. We’ve stayed here before it was 14 years ago and it needed a bit of a freshen up then and sadly they haven’t kept up with maintenance of the property. Definitely an uncomfortable place to stay and we strongly suggest to avoid it like the plague.
Greeted with prompt friendly service, room was all ready and very clean and spacious. Other guest were all travellers whom were quite and respectful. Overall was a good night sleep with no disturbances which is what we all love. I would book in here again on my next visit and also easy walk to local bar and cafes.
The staff were very helpful - both during my stay and afterwards (I left something behind). The Motel is well placed for those traveling by coach (as I was) and was good, clean and comfortable. If I was going to Pambula again, I'd stay there for sure.

Bathroom fan could do with a clean.
Average motel but priced accordingly. Was irritated that because of either the motel or hotels.com I was not able to shorten my stay as my circumstances had changed althoughi was able to cancel had i wished. This was despite the booking saying i could change my booking on my hotels.com booking. The dates bit was greyed out I left a day early feeling annoyed with both parties. well placed to walk in town. Wifi was erratic. Thick cobwebs on top left inside the window. Noisy something going most of the night. Good shower Felt disappointed that we were put in a back alcove room and had to park away as i booked at least 2 months ago . owners were friendly. Comfortable bed .
A traditional, functional and clean motor inn with comfy beds.
Breakfast included - this was poor - 5 people staying got left 2 breakfasts - not an issue for us as 3 don’t eat in the morning but might be an issue for others.
Devastated not to receive a refund for 2 days accommodation - due to police ordered evacuation of area - state of emergency - was offered 2 nights accommodation to take by end of June 20. - I believe I am entitled to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012, due to a ‘frustrated contract’ as it was impossible to perform or carry out the original contract due to events beyond all parties’ control.
I incurred significant additional expenses getting home via Canberra so I would really appreciate a refund for the 2 nights accommodation.
