"Palazzo Gambirasi is an absolute gem in the heart of Centro Storico. I normally go for branded hotels but found this by chance and couldn’t have been happier. Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing location and a wonderful Rome vibe. Just walk out the door and you’re surrounded by restaurants and within easy walking distance to many classic sites. The room was clean and charming with an exposed rustic wood ceiling. I will definitely return."

"The experience we had here was amazing. They were quick to respond if we had any questions and were very kind and helpful. We are allowed to leave our bags while we continued our sightseeing for the day and that was a great perk. The location was excellent to places that you could walk within a mile or two. "We really loved staying here. It is SO close to the Pantheon we basically stumbled across it (how could you not) on our way to dinner the first night. Being our first time it was a real "WOW" moment. Great coffee shop right around the corner. User error, but took the second night to figure out the thermostat (power button is on the top, duh). Our host was excellent re: communication which was very helpful for alleviating first-timer anxieties. My daughter did not feel well during the trip and...

"Welcomed warmly by Marvin at reception and appreciated the information on the local area activities. Our room for 3 adults was very clean, comfortable, cool with A/C during record heatwave, and great bathroom & shower space. Many restaurants and shops including markets and laundry service within the block. Walking distance (30 minutes) from Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & Colosseum. We had a great experience staying here!"

"We liked A lot the location - One of the best in Rome, close and walking distance to everything. Our room was large and nice. We liked very much Monica - The Lady that runs the place and goes out of her way to help. The big problem was the fact that the place has no elevator. Monica helped us to bring the luggage up on about 30 steps to our room. We have no idea why Expedia is ignoring this fact and why there is no mention of the elevator absence in the booking process."

"Wonderfully repurposed facilities with rich history in a bustling area right across Pantheon on Piazza Della Rotonda. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There’s plenty of space to put your clothes and luggage. Bathroom is comfortable and very clean. There’s a flight of stairs that you have to carry your luggage to the lobby. there’s an elevator from that floor to all the above floors. The location was very good and close to a shop for water and restaurants and sites to visit The bed was comfortable and the terrace balcony was a nice feature. "Unfortunately had 2 issues which meant not awarding 5 stars. Had no hot water on one day for shower or shaving which didn’t help as I was there on business. Ordered a taxi for a 5am pick up to the airport which was extremely important and having been promised by the hotel that the taxi would be there on time, I waited until 5:15 having tried to speak to the hotel and their taxi company and had to make other very hasty arrangements which involved walking with my luggage to find a taxi."

"Beautiful hotel with an excellent location. We loved the private rooftop bar overlooking the Pantheon. The hotel staff were friendly but we were a bit disappointed the hotel didn’t do anything for our elopement. They allowed us to use their rooftop patio for a few photos, however, didn’t offer anything else when they knew we were getting married there and it was a special trip. All the other hotels we stayed at on this trip gave us a bottle of Prosecco when we checked in and room upgrades....

"Beautiful space and great location in the heart of the centre of Roma. Easy walking to amazing and historical architecture in all directions, including Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Spanish steps, the Coloseum, and even the Vatican for a little extra distance. Tons of amazing restaurants and gelato places. Climbing stairs is required to get to the unit."

"The hotel was beautiful. The room was also beautiful. However, we had no turn dorm service or cleaning services done in our room when we were gone. Consider considering the the price of the room, I think that that should have definitely been a priority. We had to ask for clean towels. Also the rooftop bar staff was not that great we waited probably 30-40minutes for a drink and the price for a drink was overpriced"
