Exceptional experience. The hotel itself was stunning, the staff incredible and the food and drinks fantastic. Very children friendly but also a lively happy hour and bar. The quality of the hotel finishings were top tier. Highly recommend. The safari was great too - and with the hotel location the long line at 6am to get into the national park is avoided!

Everything about Wild Coast tented lodge is 5 star. Ultra luxurious stay in the wild. Staff are super hospitable and puts guests satisfaction above anything. Food is amazing. This is first all inclusive place where we found food amazing. Although this is all inclusive hotel, they have not compromised on food and drink quality. This is top notch hotel to be experienced. Free game drive per night is a huge addition. I highly recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay, rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the safaris organized by the lodge, who supplies rangers in addition to drivers in the safari vehicles. We opted to add an optional safari to increase our chances of seeing the elephants and leopards. Excellent staff, Sasha was very helpful, Venura in the restaurant was great and so was our Ranger Amida.

Yala luxury as good as we hoped

Fantastic stay in Yala area, food, staff, room all fantastic, safari guides were well informed and spoke the best English we had during our travels, beach is very beautiful, just no swimming. Certainly pricey, but the only complaint we had was there wasn't enough hot water to fill the tub. Everything else was top notch. Yala was very crowded as far as trucks...be prepared.

An amazing and memorable experience

It was one of our favorite places and experiences during our family trip in Sri Lanka. Our tent was nestled in the natural habitat of wildlife and nature by the side of the seaside rolling sounds of the waves with respect to the wildlife as well. Their welcoming service and attention to guests with its heartfelt and kind hospitality where every guest is welcome and served as if they are the only ones in the sanctuary heaven is amazing. Even though it rained heavily towards the end of the safari and towards the evening dampened some of our plans. Nonetheless, they ensured we were all safe and taken care of with promptness. Safari was an amazing experience and Shani was an excellent ranger as well. Tharindu, the Front House manager was there to welcome to the end of iur stay and went out of the way to make sure we were all taken care of. The entire team which takes them all to offer a great experience indeed assured us of such a wonderful and an amazing stay. It was a memorable stay! So looking forward to next time and our best wishes to all of them.

This hotel is the best I have ever stayed in…a real gem!! It accepts that we are guests in the animals land, yet somehow finds extremely tasteful luxury without disturbing nature. Rohan our host greeted us with a smile and was always on hand with anything we needed. Vihanga in the restaurant was great fun, had great recommendations and always remembered our regular orders. Darshana our ranger feels like a true friend. He is a library of knowledge, has passion for the animals as though each sighting is his first and had some great stories. He teamed with Yasanka our driver who was incredibly talented at both driving and animal spotting. Overall the service from arrival to departure was second to none! I always say how you leave a hotel says everything about it, and we left with heavy hearts, but also a free gift and discount voucher for a return, which we will 100% be using! Thank you all at Wild Coast Lodges for your exceptional service and dedication. DO NOT STAY IN ANY OTHER HOTEL IN YALA!

The cocoon-shaped tents are really unique and beautiful. They’re well-designed and blend nicely with the natural surroundings. Inside, you have everything you need – a big bed, air-conditioning, a beautiful bathtub, and stylish furniture. Some parts of the tents do feel a little old and could use a bit of renovation, but that didn’t affect how much I enjoyed my stay. It still felt special and very comfortable. The food was excellent every day. The chefs prepare a nice mix of Sri Lankan dishes and international food. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Meals were something I looked forward to daily. The safaris were a real highlight. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of nature. We saw leopards, elephants, and so many other animals. The whole safari experience was exciting and well-organized. The staff were amazing – kind, helpful, and always ready to assist. You feel well taken care of, and the service is top-level from everyone at the lodge. The small pool outside our cocoon was cleaned early every morning at around 6 AM, but because it’s under a lot of trees, it quickly fills up with leaves again. That’s understandable, but I do think the water filtration could be improved – during my stay, it looked more like a big bathtub than a proper pool. That said, there is a much bigger pool near the restaurant that’s perfect for relaxing. You can enjoy cocktails and snacks while sitting in the water, and it’s a great spot to unwind during the hot hours.

Stayed for a week at this amazing location between the Indian Ocean and Yala National Park. This is a well managed property with great service from food, housekeeping, safaris, and a new gym and children science center. We loved this luxurious glamping resort and hated to leave. So many wonderful staff members. There are several other resorts near by but this is the one!
