Really a lovely hotel. The rooms were gorgeous, the staff was super helpful and on top of stuff (cab, dinner res, itinerary), and the cafe was very nice. If you go to Orvieto you should stay here.

Absolutely first class- everything! Staff could not have been more attentive. The hotel rooms could not have been nicer- absolutely like new! Hotel has a historical feel with modern decor and amenities. The location was excellent as well. Close to Duomo. May go back to Orvieto just to stay here again (we only were in town one night this trip).

This is a unique property. Beautiful large rooms. The restaurant which is in a church setting offered one of the most particular dinners of my lifetime. I suspect they will achieve a Michelin star soon.

This was the best hotel we stayed at in Italy. The restaurant was the best we had in Italy. Do the tasting menu. This place is very new and expect it to gain a lot of notoriety. 5 star regardless of what it says on Expedia

Don’t think this experience could be improved.

It’s hard to capture in words how exceptionally good Palazzo Petrus is. I will try: the hotel is a beautiful blend of ancient stone spaces and very well executed design with minimalist/modern touches. It seems every surface has been thought about and been left in its rough state or covered with steel or brass or adorned with beautiful custom made light fixtures and other details. The rooms are as beautiful as the common spaces. Our rooms were under the eaves and were extremely well cooled (even with temperatures exceeding 40C (100+ degrees F) outside. You could set the temperature very low and the room temperature would be at that level before long. The bed was a dream. Perfect. But this leaves to last a facet of Palazzo Petrus which makes it truly shine: its people. This level of service and genuine care is rarely found.

Perfection at Palazzo Petrvs

We had the most magical 3 day stay at this hotel and could not recommend it more. Our room was beautifully appointed with a gas fireplace, exceptionally comfortable bed and large bathroom with all the amenities (including a Dyson hairdryer). The food at the bistro (which we ate as appetizer as well as once as a dinner) was so amazing and the cocktails inspirational. And the continental breakfast with fresh bread, pastries, granola and Viennoise tart enough to keep us going the entire day. A big thank you to chef Ronald, Francesco and their team. But what really impressed us the most was the amazing service from the hotel staff, especially Mattie and Marco. They were attentive to our every need- car rental, restaurant recommendations, inquires on some of the interior decor suppliers. They even checked in on us to make sure we got the the right place. The service was as good as it gets. Thank you to everyone that made this trip so memorable- we will be back!
