"A joy to celebrate my husband's special birthday here. We enjoyed 3 nights of wonderful care and help from a brilliant, attentive reception team, especially Sara and Richard. Nikolai was so kind driving us to places to eat in the village in the evening. A special shout out for the young barman, whose name I didnt get, whose English is exceptional. The hotel is ideally placed for the village, the island and the Unesco Sacro Monte. The Couples Symposium in the Wellness Suite was a real treat....

"We had a great time at Hotel La Bussola! It was a perfect space for a relaxing holiday, close to the towns many restaurants and swimming locations. Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. They went out of their way to help, even with a language barrier. Our room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic view of the lake and Isola San Giulio. We had lots of space for our family of three and the general area had something to offer for all of us. We swam in the lake and hotel pool, went...

"3rd visit to Hotel Bocciolo - and we will definitely have to go there again. The owners of the hotel is the nicest people…..the restaurant is great (absolutely no need to go elsewhere) and the location is few minutes from the lake with “beach “ possibility’s "

"Perfect base for a long weekend, the staff were excellent throughout , assisting in making bookings for taxi, boat hire and more. Couldn’t fault the accommodation and breakfast each morning was freshly prepared and baked goods varied from day to day."

"The location is nice, but we were disappointed. Contrary to what we expected and what was mentioned, there was no free wifi (there was no wifi at all!), the parking was 1.3 km away and this was not a hotel but a series of appartements. The one we got was not the one we rented! And at the end, it was extremely overpriced for what we got. To be avoided!"
