The hotel is located in a very fun and walkable neighborhood loaded with restaurant options. It was also a relatively short walk to the museums and Vondelpark. And the buses picked up right in the next block. The hotel itself was fine. The rooms weren't overly large, but had everything we needed. And the receptionist on the 4th floor was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is in an excellent location near Centraal Station and easily accessible to the city. The hotel staff were responsive to messaging and check-in was smooth. The room is very small so would benefit from a few hooks on the walls to help manage belongings in the small space. There was no bath mat to step on. I wasn't confident the bedspread and extra pillow were clean as they had stains and were poor quality material so I just removed them. Overall with a few tweaks this is a great budget hotel.

As two women friends traveling we felt very safe at hotel luxer. the door has a buzzer and you have to be buzzed in. Also, the people at the front desk were very helpful and seemed genuinely concerned for our safety and wellbeing. they took care of our airport transportation needs with no problem and we didn't have too juggle luggage on the cobblestones while dodging bicyclists (whew).
the room was incredibly small as compared to America but it was very serviceable.
